Secoin shares knowledge with Dutch partner for making “super-thin” tiles |
In August 2011, Secoin worked with Dutch partner to exchange know-how for making very thin artistic cement tiles.
With the latest research in technology and raw materials, the Dutch partner came to Secoin factory in Binh Duong province to share know-how for making super-thin tiles. Secoin has the advantage of long experience in making cement tiles, the readily available equipment and the skillful workforce – those are the favorable conditions to quickly receive the shared know-how and to immediately manufacture tiles of 8 mm thickness for customer in Europe. When applying this new technology, Secoin will be able to make large-size products up to 1m x 1m with the thickness of only 6-8mm.

In paralel with the super-thin products, the Dutch designer will introduce new unique and world-wide patented designs. The knowledge and know-how sharing program by the Dutch partner is one move in the long-term cooperation of the alliance among Secoin, Dutch designing firms and Secoin’s distribution channel in Europe. |
