Sai Gon Secoin participates in staff games festival 2009 | Basing on friendship, solidarity spirit for the development, Secoin Saigon participated in games festival with members of Building Material General Company No 1 (FICO). Games festival is organized after each 2 years to release stress in daily working and develops sporty spirit, solidarity and mutual development.
Manoeuvre lasted from 01st to 11th July 2009 at Labor Cultural Palace of Ho Chi Minh City including 22 participated units with more than 1,000 athletes in 7 competitive genres. Sai Gon Secoin participated in 6 of 7 competitive genres including: football, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, tug of war and jump with covering package.

Mr. Ho Van Huong – Union chairman said that Sai Gon Secoin’ staff is very enthusiastic to attend from practicing to competitive days and this is the occasion to exchange with other friendship companies and take exercise.
Beginning of 2000s, Sai Gon Secoin Youth Union had attended in football to exchange and study spirit, until now, Sai Gon Secoin can participate in most of competitive subjects with more than 30 athletes. Moreover, this year’s sporting event, athlete group of Sai Gon Secoin brought about achievement of three third prizes of genres such as: single badminton, couple badminton and tug of war with honored flag of Organizing Board.
Mr. Nguyen Van Be – chief of production shift of Terrazzo workshop expressed: “These outdoor activities are very big spiritual motives, especially for workers. After working time, they also need entertainment to reduce stress and worries in life”.
It is said that in future, Secoin Saigon’s Trade Union will pay more attention and investment to outdoor activities within the company as well as with other friend companies. Secoin Sai Gon has established teams in football; these teams will practice regularly in Saturday and Sunday afternoons and organized exchanging competitions to develop activities. Besides well production, Secoin Sai Gon is always full of youth and enthusiasm in cultural, sport and other social activities.
